About this Site

The purpose of this site includes:

• providing web-based resources for the elementary general music program
• exploring musical creativity
• integrating technology into music education
• applying cognitive learning theories to musical learning
• implementing music education research
• providing a means to connect musically and educationally

Separate areas are created for students and for teachers. A particular focus is the use of technology for children's musical learning.

Links provided in this site have been carefully chosen for children's use to support the elementary music classroom and program. Criteria for links to other sites are based on educational application, age-appropriate use and minimal commercial aspects.
